MID-WILTSHIRE SUNDAY LEAGUE: The Dolphin moved to within a point of leaders Selectabook at the top of the Mid-Wilts Sunday Football League with a 5-0 win at Poulshot Raven.

Darren Folkard fired a seventh minute free kick through the hosts' wall and goalkeeper's hands to give The Dolphin a half-time lead and Andy Bevan-Witts converted a Julian Fielding cross to double the advantage shortly after the break.

Fielding helped himself to the third when Jonathon Emms' shot hit the woodwork and the ball rebounded to him, before Bevan-Witts netted his second of the game from an acute angle. Lee Barber completed the rout with a late header.

A second half winner from Kevin Hammersley helped keep Bell By The Green's title challenge alive in their home clash with Netheravon.

The visitors began the game with ten men and took the lead after 20 minutes when Lee Webb picked up on a fumble from the Bell goalkeeper and slotted home. Netheravon continued to dominate the first half but could not increase their lead before the interval.

Netheravon were able to field 11 players in the second period but allowed the Bell to level when Craig Watts' corner found the head of Duncan Biggins on 50 minutes.

Hammersley then fired home after a free kick had been cleared to give the Bell a 2-1 victory that keeps them in third place.

Devizes Snooker Club's clash at JB Lions was postponed, allowing Fox and Hounds to move above them in the table with an 8-0 hammering of bottom club Linpac.

Chris Bishop and Michael Blake gave the Hounds a two-goal lead at the interval, and Bishop completed his hat-trick with two swift strikes after the break. Mark Skuse netted twice and Ben Doel hit the Foxes seventh with a spectacular 30-yard lob over the home goalkeeper.

Lee Jackson's strike rounded off the victory and things could have been worse for Linpac had their goalkeeper not saved a late Matt Chilcott penalty.
