SCREWFIX Direct League First Division strugglers Calne Town make the short trip to Warminster Town's Weymouth Street home for a relegation six-pointer on Saturday 8th December.

The Wiltshire rivals are separated by just two points at the bottom of the First Division table after Warminster's recent victory at Larkhall and defeat for Paul Rankin's side would send them to the bottom of the league for the first time this season.

Calne, under the guidance of former boss Graham Learmonth, finished bottom of the pile last term and only avoided the drop into county league football thanks to a restructuring of the league.

Warminster are without a home win this term, while Calne have yet to pick up a single point from seven games on their travels. Calne boss Paul Rankin is playing down the significance of the clash. He said: "We'll be going there with as strong a side as possible, but the three points against Warminster is as important as three points against anybody."

Rankin's side collected the first of only two victories this term when they thrashed Warminster 4-0 at Bremhill View on October 2. Warminster manager Crabtree is gunning for revenge.
