NICK Dobson was in fine form as Marlborough swept aside visitors Colerne at The Common on Saturday 1 December.
The centre scored 16 points in the victory, which lifted the home side two points clear of their rivals in the Dorset and Wilts Division Two North table.
Despite taking an early lead, Marlborough made a poor start and fell behind when two unforced errors resulted in tries for the visitors.
But the hosts quickly regrouped and took control of the match, with Mike Banfield in commanding form.
They ran in six tries, with Dobson scoring twice and adding two conversions. Toby Mitchell, Richard Turnell, Richard Piper and Andy Hay all contributed one apiece and Marlborough were also awarded a penalty try after a Colerne infringement two yards from the goal-line.
Marlborough travel to Hungerford this Saturday, kick off 2.30pm.
