The tables are beginning to take shape in the Swindon Indoor Cricket League, and Division One looks like being a straight fight between Asians and Wootton Bassett.

Both were victorious this week with Asians easily disposing of Nalgo I by six wickets despite Darren Fisher's 41 for the losers. Bassett were equally convincing in beating GWR by five wickets with almost three overs to spare.

Division Two could be between Nalgo II and New Asians, both of whom won again this week. New Asains thrashed hapless Ramsbury by 54 runs. Shoaib made 29 not out and Sohail 28 not out in a total of 118-3 before Ramsbury were rushed out for just 64.

It was much closer for five-man Nalgo as they edged out Shrivenham by two wickets in the final over. Shrivenham must have fancied their chances having posted 129-5, with Michael Ray 36 not out, but Nalgo were always up with the rate thanks to Simon Legge, 39 not out, and Phil Jenkins, 38 not out.

Swindon Exiles continue to dominate Division Three, havingbrushed aside Highworth by 26 runs. United Churches could challenge for second place and this week squeezed out Wootton Bassett II by four runs. Terry Scragg scored 38 not out for Churches and although John Wisen replied with 37, Bassett just fell short.

Division Four appears the most open of all the divisions. Welford Downlanders defeated Swindon II by 58 runs & Railway Players despatched Nationwide by 37 runs. Kev Crooks' 26 not out was the mainstay of Railway Players' winning total of 115-4.
