FESTIVE funster Andy Parks appeared on national television this week to talk about his unusual lifestyle.

Mr Parks, of Melksham, who celebrates Christmas every day, appeared on the Channel 5 show Open House with Gloria Hunniford on Monday.

During his visit to the TV studios in London Mr Parks, 41, had lunch with Donny Osmond and also met TV chef Sophie Gregson and Cliff Richard.

Mr Parks had been hoping to sing his new single Daydream Believer on the show but the production ran out of time.

Mr Parks said: "We all had a nice meal together and Donny Osmond said I would go down well in America.

"I had a wacky interview with Gloria Hunniford and had a good time. It's all a bit of fun."

Mr Parks, whose mince pies are baked by retired Trowbridge chef Des Watson, has been given £3,000-worth of Christmas lights from Kleeneze this year.
