Homemade cakes, pastries and savoury goods were tasted by Warminster mayor Chris March at a WI country market.
The Christmas market and tasting day was held in the town library last Friday, November 30.
Tables were full of jars of marmalade, crafts and vegetables, as well as treats and stocking fillers.
Mr March said: "Everything on offer was excellent and the room was packed. I didn't need any lunch afterwards as there was so much to try."
Maggie Miles, the WI market co-ordinator, was pleased with the response as it was the first time they had held a tasting day in November.
She said: "We were trying to encourage people to order now rather than just before Christmas.
"The day has hopefully helped prepare us for demand."
