BATH flanker Gavin Thomas looks certain to face Gloucester tomorrow despite picking up a third yellow card in 12 months against Wasps last weekend.

Wales ace Thomas, sin-binned for an off-the-ball tangle with Martin Offiah, has yet to hear which game he will miss as part of a one-match ban.

And with the RFU yet to come back to Bath about the suspension, the likelihood of it being enforced on Saturday is diminishing.

Meanwhile, England centre Mike Tindall should be fit to take his place in a full-strength Bath line-up, despite taking yet another knock to his nose during the Wasps game.

Nathan Thomas is a definite non-starter though, the Welshman still requiring more recovery from a neck injury.

Bath will await news on the state of club skipper Dan Lyle's hamstring strain before deciding on their line-up.

The American has not trained all week after picking up the injury playing for the USA last weekend. Mark Gabey and Andy Beattie stand by to fill the No 8 jersey.

England and British Lions prop Phil Vickery returns to Gloucester's hefty pack, replacing Italian Federico Pucciarello, who has broken a bone in his foot.

Henry Paul, once of Bath, is likely to play in the centres, going head-to-head with Tindall.

Referee Steve Lander takes charge of the contest.
