Children from Paxcroft School, Trowbridge have recorded a CD to raise money for the families of the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks
The idea came from 11-year-old pupil, Georgia Cook. She said: "I wanted to send a message to everyone in America that people are thinking of them."
Georgia told music co-ordinator Karen Brown she thought the song they had sung for the harvest festival, Sad, Puzzled Eyes, would be an appropriate tribute.
Every child at the school sang on the recording with four soloists, Victoria Blanks, Sian Dicker, Kerry Hopper and Natalie Reid. Pupils also provided accompaniment on recorders and percussion instruments.
The song was recorded at the school and produced at a studio in Devizes.
The CDs cost £3 and nearly 300 have been sold so far.
Anyone interested in buying one should contact the school on (01225) 762244.
