SANTA left the reindeer at home as he arrived to take up residence in a Trowbridge supermarket in style.
Father Christmas turned up at the town's Asda store for a three-week stint in a chauffeur-driven white, stretch limo.
Sophie Brice, deputy customer manager at the store, said: "It was a really stylish way to turn up. It was really nice and different and lots of people turned up to see him."
The store's foyer will be his temporary grotto from 10am to 4pm from now until Christmas Eve.
