INTERNET whiz kids from a Trowbridge school have had a year of hard work rewarded at a glittering London ceremony attended by pop group S Club 7.
The five boys from St Augustine's Catholic College were national finalists in the Tesco Our Schools Awards 2001.
Chris Woods, Simon Hoy, Paul Latcham, Chris Pickford and Adam Slusacyk were entered in the Computers for Schools category after teachers were impressed by the success of their Young Enterprise project a web design company called Infinitus.
The night was held at the London Aquarium and attended by over 200 people, including the Schools Standards Minister Stephen Timms, Tesco marketing director Tim Mason, Capital Radio's Dr Fox and surprise guests at the end S Club 7.
Dr Fox said: "The Tesco Our Schools Awards highlight and pay tribute to the incredible range of talent young people in the UK represent. I am extremely proud to be associated with them."
The boys each took away £100 of gift vouchers and a digital camera plus 2,500 Tesco Computers for Schools vouchers for their college.
