THE parents of 14-year-old Hannah Couldrake have thanked those who spoke at their daughter's funeral.
Hannah, who suffered from the rare illness Marfan Syndrome, which affected her bones, died at Bristol Children's Hospital on November 15 after a pulmonary haemorrhage caused her heart to stop.
Her parents Donna and Dave would like to thank Carole Goodwin, headteacher of Larkrise School where Hannah was a pupil, and Christine Glover, district commissioner for the Guides, for their tributes.
Hannah, who had severe learning difficulties, also went to Walwayne Court School one day a week for PE and loved going to Guides. She was a popular member of the Steeple Ashton guide unit, and not Semington as stated in last week's Wiltshire Times.
We have also been asked to point out that her funeral service was held at St Michael and All Angels Church in Hilperton,
and not at West Wiltshire Crematorium. Hannah was buried at Trowbridge Cemetery.
We apologise for any distress this may have caused.
