ON STAGE next week at the Ustinov Studio in Bath is a Frome performer who comes direct from the Edinburgh Festival.
Pip Utton, who is probably best remembered by Ustinov audiences for his award-winning performance as Adolf Hitler in the internationally acclaimed play Adolf, this time offers two tales of obsession.
Labels is written by Louis de Bernieres, author of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, and adapted by Pip. This is a whimsical tale of a man obsessed with the labels on cat food tins.
Edmund Kean, Utton's new play, is a darker piece, based on arguably the greatest English actor of all time, who was driven by obsession to become the King of Tragedy.
