YOUNGSTERS in Fairford have begun raising funds for their own skateboard park.
Five boarders have been visiting businesses in the town, getting cash pledges. So far, they have been promised more than £300.
The money will be collected later, once plans for the park are formalised.
Estate agency firm White Horse, in Market Place, Fairford, has promised to donate £100 for every house it sells.
The money will be donated from properties which came on to the market from November 1. MD Simon Forster said the final total could be up to £10,000.
Campaigners need to raise £50,000 to build the park near Fairford Sports Centre.
