Chippenham Town treated fellow promotion hopefuls Evesham to six of the best on Saturday.
Tommy Saunders' troops produced possibly their best display of the season to run out 6-0 winners in Worcestershire.
The hosts started quite brightly, but once Steve Tweddle fired Chippenham ahead after 29 minutes, it was one-way traffic.
Ten minutes from the interval, Matt Rawlins doubled Town's advantage courtesy of a Simon Charity assist.
The Bluebirds remained dominant after the break, and Tweddle took just two minutes to claim his second, following up his own penalty miss to bundle home.
James Bent capitalised on some poor defending to add a fourth on 52 minutes, and Rawlins completed his brace 11 minutes from time.
Chippenham though, saved their best for last, when John Woods smashed home a classy Adie Mings' back-heel.
Amazingly, the Bluebirds' two closest Dr Martens rivals both enjoyed 6-0 wins of their own.
Leaders Halesowen trounced visiting Shepshed, and Clevedon humbled nine-man Redditch.
So Saunders' men make no ground on front-runners Halesowen, but the comprehensive victory sees them consolidate their second place in the Western Division.
