I read that Julia Drown has now become involved in the current Ridgeway debate (Evening Advertiser, November 28).
A few months ago she was not interested in having problems of the countryside raised at the meeting at New College which Mr Blair attended.
If Ms Drown has now become interested in damage to the countryside, she needs to look no further than north of the M4 and west of the A419, which should be the boundary of Swindon, where the destruction of North Wiltshire goes on and on, aided by this urban Labour government.
As for the Ridgeway, it should be left to Wiltshire County Council to deal with. They have rights of way officers who have had many years dealing with the Ridgeway, and are no doubt fully aware of who is causing the damage to virtually all the byways in North Wiltshire.
