TWELVE budding illustrators have reached the final stage of a calendar design competition.
The finalists, all in their second year of an HND in illustration at Swindon College, were presented with a digitally produced copy of the calendar page they had produced.
The competition was sponsored by Copycats, a printing company based in Commercial Road, which was keen to provide incentives for the assignment.
Copycats business analyst, Donald Scott said: "Each student does a separate month. We hope to make the competition part of the course every year. It helps to highlight what we do as a company and I think the students benefit."
The winner will be announced later this week. The prize is £100 and a portfolio of the winning student's work colour copied.
The calendar itself will be sent to corporate businesses.
