A Cricklade man who stole cider and lager from a store after complaining about the service was fined £83 and £50 costs.
Alonzo Fallon, 19, of High Street, appeared before Chippenham magistrates on Monday when he pleaded guilty to charges of stealing a bottle of cider worth £2.99 and 24 cans of Stella Artois, worth £23.96, on October 13.
Amanda Sawetz, prosecuting, told the court a sales supervisor in Dillons, Cricklade, spotted Fallon in the shop at about 3.15pm.
He walked out of the shop with a bottle of cider, returning at 7.40pm to take flat pack of Stella Artois without paying. He was later arrested at his home and interviewed by police, when he admitted guilt.
