POLICE reconstructed a vicious baseball bat attack on a security guard at Safeway in Chippenham last week.
The attack happened early in the morning last month when Securitas guards were filling up the cashpoints at the supermarket.
One was hit round the back of the legs with a baseball bat and the robbers made off with a box containing £10,000 in cash.
Police hope the reconstruction, which was shown on HTV's Crimestoppers programme on Tuesday night, will help jog the memories of customers and staff who were in the vicinity at the time.
Police spokesman Andy Fortune said: "Hopefully somebody watching will recognise something familiar and contact the police.
Uniformed and CID officers were at the reconstruction on the morning of Wednesday 12 December.
Officers were at the store in the early hours a week after it happened, when they talked to staff and people using the petrol station.
Unfortunately there were no strong leads and police chose to try Crimestoppers. Anyone with information should contact police on (01249) 654455
