TOWN Hall Wine Vaults, the off licence in St John's Street, Devizes, is closing on December 31.
Owner Jasper Holmes has decided to close the business as the lease is coming to an end.
Mr Holmes, who employs two part-time staff, said: "I am extremely sad to leave but our lease has come to an end and life moves on.
"We would like to thank all our customers for being loyal and we shall miss Devizes."
Mr Holmes has owned the off licence for 14 years. The property has been a wine merchants since 1870.
Mr Holmes will continue to run his off licence, Magnum, in Old Town, Swindon.
