THANK you for covering the visit of the delegation from Ingrandes sur Loire to Bromham last weekend.
We look forward to formalising the twinning in the not too distant future.
However, in monitoring our other twinning link with the Irish village of Avoca better known to many as Ballykissangel you have again said that the Irish poet, Thomas Moore, was born there.
Moore, who is buried in Bromham Churchyard, was born in Dublin, not Avoca.
He certainly had links with Avoca and was inspired by its beautiful scenery to write some of his best known work.
