SUPPORTERS of Greyhound Rescue met at The Bell pub in Westbury for an afternoon walk with their dogs on Sunday, December 9.
The get-together was organised by pub licensee Karen Grant, who herself has a greyhound rescued through the charity.
The charity has a strong presence in west Wiltshire where members look after dogs and work to raise money for the charity.
South west publicity officer Louise Round said: "We rescue and rehabilitate abused and abandoned greyhounds and lurchers.
"Last year we rehomed more than 500 dogs. We have no paid staff. We are all volunteers.
"We have a really good core of excellent supporters who give up a lot of time to raise the profile of the charity and rehome animals."
Walkers on Sunday included Marilyn Plownes whose rescue dog Bell is named after the pub, at Chalford, Westbury where the walk began.
The walk, which was well attended, was followed by refreshments in the pub.
The group holds regular events and more than 20 dogs turned up for its summer walk from the pub in August.
