WROUGHTON Reserves continue to lead the Junior Division after their 3-2 away win over Bromham.
Richard Perrett, Jamie Cowley and goalkeeper Barry Phillips, from the spot, his third in the last three games, scored for Wroughton and Jeremy Thompson and Mark Bowden for Bromham.
Wroughton's senior side moved above Devizes Town Reserves in the Premier Division after beating Melksham Town Reserves 3-1, scoring all four goals in the process. The Swindon side's prolific scorer Glenn Armstrong opened the scoring midway through the first half with a shot from the byline getting a helping hand from the visitors' goalkeeper.
Ten minutes later Melksham drew level when a cross was deflected into his own net by Wroughton's Vince Goodenough. Five minutes before the break the home side regained the lead, Paul Blagdon netting after a scramble in the Melksham area.
After the interval Wroughton continued to shade the game and made sure of victory with a strike from Dave Guthry.
Devizes Town Reserves did their championship hopes no favours when they were beaten at home by Westbury United Reserves 1-0.
The all important goal came midway through the first half through Steve Mundy and despite frantic efforts in the second half to get on terms the visitors hung on for a surprise victory.
Pewsey Vale Reserves' Tom Adams scored four for the second week running in his side's 6-0 win over Warminster Town Reserves, Neil Stephens and Mike Tarrant scoring the other two.
Biddestone gained a 2-0 win over Marlborough Town, Spencer Clifford bending a free kick around the Marlborough wall for the first and Jason Ritchie making sure with a second half strike.
Bradford Town also won 2-0 against Corsham Town Reserves, Mark Barnett and a second half goal from Robbie Simmons doing the damage.
Zarlink accounted for Biddestone Reserves in an exciting second round game in the Plaister Autos Intermediate Cup, running 4-3 winners after extra time.
Jamie Tindle (2) and Rob Pocock were the Biddestone scorers.
