Premier Division title contenders Wroughton face their toughest test of the Wiltshire league season when they take on leaders Shrewton United on their own ground.
It will take an impressive performance from the Swindon side if they are to topple the leaders, but Wroughton boss Chris Pethick thinks his side will be up for the big occasion.
He said: "A couple of our first-teamers will probably miss the game through injury, but we are looking forward to the contest and if Glenn Armstrong can snatch a couple of goals we could get a result. They have beaten us the last couple of times we have played them, so you could say it's our turn."
Wroughton Reserves, leaders of the Junior section, are also involved in a top-of-the-table battle with the undefeated Wootton Bassett United.
Bassett maintained their unbeaten tag after beating Swindon Eagles with a depleted side last week. With all 11 players they could make things difficult for the leaders.
In the Premier section, Cricklade have a six-pointer away to fellow strugglers Malmesbury Vics, and Aldbourne entertain Purton Reserves.
In the Intermediate section, Blunsdon United are without a game, leaving the way clear for Ashton Keynes, Stratton Crosslink and Zarlink to edge nearer the top. Ashton Keynes, in the middle of a good run, should not find things too difficult at home to Calne Town Reserves.
Stratton Crosslink are at home to Sherston, and Zarlink will be odds-on to beat bottom side Wanborough United.
Swindon Eagles, after surrendering their unbeaten record to Wootton Bassett United last week, are in action in the third round of the Fountain Trophies Junior Cup against Sporting HKQ.
Crunch games are coming thick and fast for the rejuvenated Highworth Town side in the Hellenic Premier. After a 5-0 win over Brackley and a 3-2 success in their local derby game with Wootton Bassett, the Town entertain third-in-the-table North Leigh this weekend.
The visitors are just one point behind Premier leaders Yate Town, with three games in hand, and have been beaten only once from 17 starts.
Chris Seagraves' side could well dent the visitors' title hopes if producing the form they have shown in recent weeks, and will not be short of support.
Fourth in the table Fairford Town visit Abingdon United, a couple of places below them, and the Cinder Lane side will be keen to get a result to keep them in contention.
Wootton Bassett Town, who created an upset in midweek when they beat Swindon Supermarine in the Wilts Shield, have slipped to 16th spot in the table and could do with three points.
They have a good opportunity at home to Almondsbury Town, who are a couple of places below them, and if they play as well as they did against the Doc Marten's side in midweek they should get a result.
Purton are back in league action in Division 1, after a couple of weeks off and should collect three points at the expense of bottom but one side Malmesbury Vics.
The Red House outfit are in third spot in the table, four points behind leaders Hook Norton with a game in hand.
Pewsey Vale entertain Shrivenham, who are a much improved side these days, and made Purton struggle for victory against them last week.
However, Don Rogers' side will be looking to get back on the winning trail after losing at Middle Barton last week.
