A 14-YEAR-OLD boy from Bradford on Avon has denied starting a barn fire, which caused nearly £30,000 of damage.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at a youth court in Trowbridge on Friday, December 14.
Nearly 100 tons of hay, farm equipment and the barn building were all destroyed in the arson attack in August.
The barn, situated in fields off the Bradford to Wingfield Road, is part of Belle Coeur Farm leased out by the Vigar family.
The boy will reappear in court on January 4 for a trial date.
