YOUNG sailors from Trowbridge Sea Cadets were showing off their parade skills at Trowbridge Oaks nursing home on Saturday, December 8.
The intrepid youngsters have written to top television gameshow The Generation Game to ask if they can appear in one of the games.
In preparation they are visiting a number of local groups to practise their drill in front of an audience.
Ray Horan, activities organiser at Trowbridge Oaks, said: "They did their military parade complete with gun twirling to show what they can do.
"It was a fantastic display and the residents thoroughly enjoyed it.
"They are busy practising for The Generation Game and hope to appear when a slot comes up."
Mr Horan said the home organises lots of activities and visits for its residents and often invites groups of young people to come in and talk about what they do.
