A THIRD man accused of taking part in an armed raid on a Trowbridge cash and carry store has appeared in court.
David Little, 42, was arrested last month in connection with the robbery at Bookers Cash and Carry in November 1999, when £34,000 of cigarettes were taken.
He is also accused of kidnapping store worker Laurence Wardell, who was taken from the scene and dropped near Bradford on Avon after the raid.
Little, of Marygold Leaze, Cadbury Heath, Bristol, made no plea on charges of kidnap and robbery before Trowbridge magistrates on Thursday.
His case has been committed to Swindon Crown Court to be heard today.
Bristol men Wayne Lodder, 25, of Sarum Crescent and Robert Tyler, 41, have already denied robbery and kidnap at Swindon Crown Court. Their trial date should be set in the next month.
