BLUNSDON market trader Joseph McGeough is due to appear in court next week charged with selling fake Pokemon, South Park, Winnie the Pooh, Pikachu and Kangol clothes.
He has been summonsed to appear before Swindon magistrates on Thursday to answer 18 charges under the Trade Descriptions and Trade Marks Acts.
The alleged counterfeit offences took place on December 20, 2000 and February 21 and March 7 this year and involve nightwear, boxer shorts, socks and a hat.
Included in the 18 charges is one of failing to give a trading standards officer the information he required.
These are said to have taken place between March 14 and August 1 2001.
