Martyn Margetson - 30 year-old keeper, previously with Manchester City. Has taken his chance after playing understudy to Nico Vaesen.
Thomas Heary - former Republic of Ireland Under 21 defender. Favours the right back role but can play in midfield when required. Tough tackler.
Steve Jenkins - 30-year-old Welsh international signed from Swansea eight years ago. Can play at left back or right back. Another uncompromising defender. Brief loan spell at Birmingham last season.
Kevin Gray - Big defender who was captured from Mansfield Town seven years ago. Had an unsuccessful loan spell with Stockport last year.
Jon Dyson - a Town 'veteran' of more than 200 games. The Huddersfield-born defender is a versatile player who is dangerous at set pieces.

Chris Holland - big mate of Steve Robinson. The midfielder arrived at the McAlpine from Birmingham in a £100,000 deal. Has suffered with injuries. A lot in common with his Town mate.
Kenny Irons - Made his name with Tranmere as an energetic midfielder before switching to Huddersfield in a £450,000 transfer in July 1999. A regular on the bench last season.
Leon Knight - Diminiutive striker who has represented England at U18 level. A product of the Chelsea youth set up, he has scored five goals so far this term.
Dwayne Mattis - 20-year-old striker. Scored in Town's 2-1 win over high-flying Cardiff back in September.
Andy Booth - Returned to the club which 'raised him' in March. Worshipped by the fans, he was sold to Sheffield Wednesday for £2.7million. He never quite found his shooting boots in the Premiership and headed for 'home'.
Chris Hay - former Town striker has struggled to win a regular spot. Twice on the mark this season.
