A TEENAGER in foster care has gone missing from his home in Purton.
Leon Symonds, 15, was last seen leaving for school on the morning of Monday, December 3.
The Bradon Forest pupil did not arrive for lessons that morning and police believe he my have run away to stay with friends in Swindon.
Sergeant Andrew Bridge of Cricklade Police said all parties involved were growing increasingly concerned for the boy's welfare.
"Obviously we would like him to contact either his carers or the police to let us know he is alright.
"If Leon is worried about something we might be able to help him resolve any problems and I would urge him to get in touch."
Leon is white, 5'10" tall with a fresh complexion and short dark hair. He has brown eyes and wears glasses.
On the day he disappeared he was wearing black trainers, black trousers, a white shirt, black jumper, a navy blue Reebok jacket and a white cap.
