A WORKSHOP is being set up in Swindon to develop employees' stress management skills.
HR Excel, a staff develop-ment and training consul-tancy, claims one in five people in Wiltshire suffer from high levels of work-related stress.
They have developed the Effective Goals Management course which will train delegates in time manage-ment, stress and managing interruptions among a number of skills.
Workshop tutor, Dawn Neale, said: "With redundan-cies, increasing workloads on staff and the tight economic climate, com- panies can be severely hampered by stress in the workplace.
"This means staff often take time off and don't performing well."
The course offers places to a limited number of delegates at a price of £285 per person plus VAT.
It takes place on January 23 from 9.30am to 5.30pm, at the Drove Centre, in Old Town.
