SWINDON FM, the town's new radio station, is on the lookout for sports experts to join its commentary team.
The radio station will start broadcasting on the internet from Saturday.
Programme Controller, Carl Humphreys, says a passion for sport is the most important thing for those thinking of applying.
He said: "Swindon has a lot of local talent playing sport over evenings and weekends, what-ever the weather.
"If you're interested in speed-way, swimming, soccer, ice hockey, rugby, cricket, or any of the other sports that take place in and around Swindon, we want to hear from you.
"Swindon FM wants to cover all areas of sports, from the grass routes level, up to professional levels. But we can only do this with the help of the local community."
Martin Dallaghan, station manager, said: "The team are currently working flat out rebuilding and refitting the studio in the Brunel Centre for the launch on Saturday."
Those who would like to report on sport for the station should write to Carl Humphreys at Swindon FM, PO Box 2280 Swindon SN1 1LW, or call the station on Swindon 535084.
