A SPECIALIST food shop opened in Chippenham's Emery Gate on Wednesday December 19.
The Julian Graves store sells dried fruits, nuts, Bombay mix and all sorts of traditional confectionary, such as bon bons, Pontefract cakes and sugared almonds.
Store supervisor Gay Bulley said: "We are very excited about opening in Chippenham, it is in a great location and will offer residents the opportunity to purchase a wide range of healthy snacks and specialist ingredients.
"Julian Graves operates at the luxury end of the market, selling food that would be difficult to buy in major supermarkets. When Nigella Lawson commands the country to seek out black cherries, porcini mushrooms and whole peel caps, we can help."
The shop also stocks a selection of Christmas gifts and stocking fillers including truffle log boxes, luxury assorted fudge and cashew nut gift tins.
The new store employs four staff and opens from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.
Julian Graves also has branches in Bath, Bristol, Trowbridge, Swindon and Warminster.
