THE welcome return of Paul Sales from a groin injury coincided with a much-improved Salisbury City performance on Saturday.

But the luckless Whites remain rooted to the bottom of the table as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Hinckley United.

The prolific Sales, who has scored 75 times in 125 games for the club, lifted Salisbury with a highly impressive all-round display in his first game for more than two months.
