SALISBURY solicitors Wilsons have announced two new appointments.

Susan Johnson, a partner in the trusts, tax and probate department, has been appointed to the council of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).

And Michael Parker has joined the firm as an associate solicitor in the litigation and employment department.

Miss Johnson advises on all areas of capital taxes, with particular emphasis on advice to individuals and trustees, often with an international dimension.

She became a member of ATT in 1993 and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1996. She has served on the ATT's membership committee since 1999. Mr Parker specialises in litigation and dispute resolution relating to trusts, probate, property and agricultural matters.

He also handles general commercial litigation, including professional negligence and judicial review, and is recognised by Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession as a leader in administrative and public law.

"Wilsons' team has never been stronger," said managing partner Andrew Wiltshire.

"Susan's appointment and Michael's joining us are a reflection of our commitment to provide the highest quality of service."
