A CORSHAM-based firm was presented with a prestigious industry award for the second year running on Monday.
Coombe Castle International, which exports cheese and clotted cream, won the Frozen and Chilled Exporter of the Year award at the Food from Britain/HSBC Export awards last week.
Founded in 1981, the company exports a selected range of dairy products including Royal Stilton, Farmhouse cheddar, Cheshire and Double Gloucester cheeses.
Coombe Castle focuses on six overseas markets, which account for 98 per cent of the company's annual sales.
The products are particularly popular in the US. Monthly deliveries are made to Boston, New York and Philadelphia.
Glyn Woolley of Coombe Castle said: "We are delighted to have won a Food from Britain Award. We strive to offer innovative, quality products which challenge the industry sector. By working closely with customers and distributors, export has become the backbone of our business."
Simon Waring of Food from Britain said: "The judges were extremely impressed by Coombe Castle's commitment and innovative approach to export."
