WILTSHIRE Screwfix Direct League managers Mark Godley and Brian Newlands enter the festive season in dispute over the future of Corsham Town winger James Lye.
Corsham manager Godley has accused Devizes Town boss Newlands of making an illegal approach and will block the transfer until he is satisfied all appropriate courses of action have been taken.
The rumpus comes as both managers prepare for a hectic period of matches.
First Division Corsham entertain lowly Cadbury Heath on Saturday and face Calne in a Wiltshire derby on Boxing Day, while Devizes play host to Bideford before travelling to local rivals Melksham Town on Wednesday in the Premier Division .
Calne Town will warm up for their clash against Corsham with a relegation six-pointer at Wellington on Saturday.
In the Dr Martens League Western Division, second placed Chippenham Town have a top of the table showdown at league leaders Halesowen Town on Saturday and take on improving local rivals Swindon Supermarine at Hardenhuish Park on Boxing Day.
