TOWN reserves halted their eight game losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Northampton at the County Ground yesterday, the last game that Roy Evans watched in his capacity as director of football at Swindon Town.
The home side included trialists Andy Martin, Jude Stirling and Daniel Bennett in their line-up, all looking to impress onlooking coaches Malcolm Crosby and Neil Ruddock,
Northampton took a second- minute lead through Neil Champelovier but Town drew level just three minutes later thanks to a thumping 25 yard strike from Sol Davis.
Town line-up: McKinney, Collins, Davis, McAreavey, Reeves, Bennett, Williams, Halliday, Martin, Grazioli, Brayley. Subs: Farr, Stirling, N Edwards, Young, Smith.
