Tuesday December 11 will go down as one of the darkest days in British history. Tony Blair and his ministers have seen fit to give away to the EU 1,000 years of British sovereignty in exchange for a European extradition treaty.
Any government or court, anywhere in the EU will be able to order the arrest and extradition of anyone they like.
Our rights, like trial by jury, assumption of innocent until proven guilty, and all rights as laid down in the Magna Carta will be abolished forever. New Labour has given away our most important rights as human beings, and not bothered to give us the chance for any debate or referendum.
The people who run the EU are power mad megalomaniacs, and don't like anyone or anything which stands in their way towards the creation of their European superstate.
I fear many innocent people will be forcibly moved to foreign countries , spending agonising months, even years in jail not knowing whether they will be charged or released.
There could also be ulterior motives in ordering the arrest of certain individuals because of political or religious beliefs, or simply because they are patriotic to their particular countries, and not the EU superstate. To make matters worse there will be no right of appeal against extradition.
Osama bin Laden need not lose any sleep over his failure to destroy our democracy, New Labour and the EU have been working towards that for years.
The only hope for our future is a patriotic Conservative government winning the next election, who will be prepared to put the best interests of Britain and its people first, and stand up to say NO to the bullyboys in Brussels.
