CHIPPENHAM continued their unbeaten run, producing a good result from an at times scrappy match.
Always looking dangerous with the ball in hand, their first try came from a move that started in their own 22. The ball was fed to winger Julian Squires who ran deep into the Frome half and excellent support saw hooker Lynton Hackett take an inside pass and beat the cover to score under the posts.
Shortly after James Cooke came in off his wing and took a second phase ball close to the Frome line to burst over for a try. Closing the first half, Chris Cook scored on the left after quick ball had been passed across from the right.
In the second half and playing up the slope Chippenham continued to apply most of the pressure leading to two further tries; a second for James Cook, with a good run down his wing after good interplay by the backs, and one from Mike Griffin, scything through the defence at close quarters to score under the posts.
Alun Jones converted this and two of the other scores to seal a good victory.
