ONE member of staff has been fired and another suspended from Virgin Mobile after allegations of drug use, violence and sex at the firm's Christmas party.
Police were called to Reflections nightclub in Westbury twice in 15 minutes in the early hours.
One partygoer, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: "It was pretty outrageous. They have loads of money so free booze was laid on all night, and there were loads of freebies.
"Someone was caught taking cocaine in the toilets and a couple were having sex in the car park.
"I don't know if the person having sex was doing so with his partner or someone else from the office."
Police confirmed a man was arrested at the club on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. He has been released on police bail while the substance is tested.
At 2.15am police were called again after one partygoer was reported to have butted another.
Virgin spokesman Steven Day said: "We had a great party. Over 1,000 Virgin Mobile people got together to celebrate our second birthday and Christmas and the majority enjoyed themselves immensely.
"Unfortunately a few individuals were involved in incidents which subsequently involved the police.
"One of these has resulted in the dismissal of the member of staff involved, the other a suspension pending investigation."
One employee said some staff turned up at the Christmas party despite taking the day off sick.
He said: "Some people took half the day off sick but still came to the Christmas party in the evening. Management staff were there and they were disciplined on the spot. "
The company could not confirm whether anyone was disciplined or whether anyone had been caught having sex in the car park.
Mr Day said: "Virgin Mobile is a vibrant company, it is a great place to work and, yes, we do like to have fun but, like any progressive organisation, while we like to reward our staff we will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour."
The events at the party on December 11 happened after the firm's legal advisers stepped in to ban one stunt.
It had been suggested that staff could re-create the television advert in which ex-All Saint singer, Melanie Blatt, photocopies her bottom.
The plan was abandoned when advisers declared it to be unsafe instead partygoers had to rely on other entertainment, including top singer-turned-DJ, Boy George and pop group, Liberty.
Mr Day said: "We thought it might be fun to introduce it to the office party, but we decided against it in the end. It was a nice idea, but a bit of a joke.
"We are a fun company but also responsible and take health and safety very seriously."
A man appeared in court last Thursday after an incident at Virgin Mobile's last staff party in July.
Stuart Holburn, 42, was accused of butting another man after seeing him at the party with his ex-wife.
