JAMES Dyson's purple washing machine is not going down well with shoppers.
Now the north Wiltshire-based Dyson Appliances is bringing in a white version of the Contrarotator after the jazzy purple, purple and white, and silver models failed to take off.
The price has also been slashed by £200 with models now costing between £799 and £999.
A Dyson spokesman said the white version had been introduced because it was clear the public knew what they liked.
He said: "It was because of public demand.
"For us the most important thing is making a machine that works faster and better, not what it looks like."
