Highworth Town take a breather from league action this weekend when they visit Division 1 side Bisley Sports in the Supplementary Cup.
A few weeks ago a Cup upset could have been on the cards but the Wiltshire side's recent impressive form must make them favourites for passage into the third round.
Manager Chris Seagraves, who said his side were awful last week against Premier leaders North Leigh, will expect nothing but a victory against their lower division opponents.
A 4-3 away win in midweek at Southall gained the Highworth side another three league points, and brought a smile back to the face of the Highworth boss.
Fourth-in-the-table Fairford Town entertain Wootton Bassett at Cinder Lane, and on form should collect three points.
However, the visitors' form is very patchy, and on a good day could cause an upset. They put their best foot forward recently when they beat Dr Martens side Swindon Supermarine 2-0 in the Wilts Shield, and followed up with a poor performance in a six-pointer against Almondsbury Town.
Manager Pete Yeardley admits his task is to get the side playing with more consistency.
Fairford boss Mark Webb has said his side plays better away from home, so it could be a close run thing.
Former Bassett striker Lee Stoddart, now with Fairford, will no doubt be attempting to show his former teammates that he has not lost his goal-scoring touch.
In Division 1, Purton make the short trip to Shrivenham and will be made to pull out all the stops by the home side, who have steadily improved during the season.
Malmesbury Vics host Pewsey Vale, and Don Rogers' side will not have things all their own way if the Vics can produce the form they showed against Purton last week.
On Boxing Day, Fairford take on neighbours Cirencester Academy, kicking off at 11am, Highworth Town visit Wantage and Wootton Bassett are at home to Shortwood United. Both games kick off at 3pm.
