YAMAHA has chosen the busy Christmas period to promote two-wheel transport.
It points out the benefits of being able to cut through city traffic, freedom from unreliable public transport, a paltry £15 road tax, plus excellent fuel economy and free parking available in many places.
"What's more, you can ride these two models on your car licence," says Yamaha, pointing to its Neos and Aerox 50cc scooters pictured. Priced from £1,649, they come with free insurance as well as 12 months' RAC cover.
