DEFIANT Danny Grewcock has shrugged off the latest international accolade to come his way to concentrate on the mission to rescue Bath's season.
And the former Saracens lock forward has admitted: "There are no easy answers but we will get it right.''
British Lions star Grewcock was this week named as one of five England players in the Zurich World XV for 2001, a list calculated from the individuals' international performances throughout the year.
But the 29-year-old said: "It's nice but I don't know anything about it really.
"It doesn't make any difference to my future.
"I saw it on Ceefax but the players don't read into it too much. It's just one of those things.''
And while his efforts for his country certainly merit his inclusion in the star-studded selection, Grewcock himself is taking a greater interest in the up-and-down fortunes of his club.
Powergen National Cup defeat at the hands of London Irish last weekend has left Bath staring at the prospect of another trophy-less season and a tricky trip to Newcastle in the league on Sunday.
And the man nicknamed Robolock said: "This is my permanent job. Playing well for your club and getting them back winning is everybody's objective and I believe it will come.
"London Irish was obviously a disappointing result but we've still a lot to work on.
"There are a lot of changes going on and we're all learning a lot. Hopefully we will put that into action as quickly as possible.''
Grewcock admits that consistency has been Bath's problem, but reckons the imput of new assistant coach Michael Foley and the rest of the Jon Callard's coaching staff can help them pull through.
He added: "It's good with Michael Foley's imput and the players appreciate that.
"We've had some good games and some bad but we haven't been consistent.
"We are working very hard to put that right but I believe we will get it right.''
