Calne Town's nightmare season continues, after Paul Rankin's sorry side slumped to a 4-2 defeat at relegation rivals Wellington.
Calne found themselves two down inside 12 minutes, before Simon Bray pulled one back from the spot.
But Scott Wheadon's late brace ended any chance of a Calne comeback, and Matt Ward's stoppage time strike proved no more than a consolation.
The result sees Wellington springboard Calne, with Rankin's men slipping into the bottom two in the first division.
Corsham Town fared better, thumping Cadbury Heath 4-1 at Southbank.
Dave Kilmurray claimed a superb hat-trick, and stalwart Brian Kayll added a fourth in a comfortable win.
Mark Godley's men return to the top six courtesy of the victory.
Corsham will start as clear favourites in the Boxing Day clash at Calne.
The eagerly awaited derby kicks off at 11.30 am.
