CENTRAL defender Adam Willis admits the Christmas period is a make or break time for Swindon Town.
The former Coventry City man was one of the few players to emerge with any real credit after Friday's miserable showing at Notts County.
It is a testing time for the players with three games in a week.
But tired limbs will be forgotten if Town emerge with a creditable points tally.
He said: "We have to be looking for two home victories and hopefully pick something up at Colchester on New Year's Day.
"It is make or break time in a sense.
"Going into the new year we will have a clearer idea of what sort of campaign we are going to have.
"Is it going to be another relegation dog fight or hopefully a bit more comfortable."
Willis knows the return of Andy King means everyone has to be out to impress their new gaffer and he intends to do just that.
He said: "I've enjoyed the last couple of games, although not the results and I want to keep my place but that's up to the gaffer of course."
Town chairman Willie Carson has vowed that anyone taking up the club's £95 VIP package to the FA Cup tie at Manchester City will get their money back if Andy King's men emerge victorious.
