DURING the First World War many people living in the West Country experienced real hardship.
In rural areas farming mainly cash crops such as wheat and barley, local people could find it hard to get hold of fresh produce. In some Wiltshire towns, the poor suffered from malnutrition. We are looking for people, now in their 90s and early 100s, to take part in a documentary about Britain during the First World War (1914-18). If you have first hand memories of the war and the hardship of those years, then please contact Ellen Quinn at Testimony Films, 12 Great George Street, Bristol BS1 5RS.
