DESPITE losing their top marksman Glenn Armstrong, who signed for Screwfix side Devizes Town in midweek, Wroughton still managed to score six goals at Marlborough, the home side replying twice.
The victory kept the Swindon side in touch with leaders Shrewton United who were held to a 2-2 draw by Devizes Town Reserves.
Wroughton goals came from Sean Clarke (2), Tom Dingle (2) Paul Blagden and Nick Maggs, with Richard Jackson (2) replying.
In the local derby game at Purton Reserves he home side beat rivals Cricklade Town 2-0, with goals from Paul Gillett and and Johnny Coole (penalty).
Pewsey Vale Reserves and Aldbourne shared the points in a 1-1 draw, Terry Creedy netting for the home side and Mark Bennett for the visitors.
Premier Division leaders Shrewton United's run of victories came to a halt when they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by visitors Devizes Town Reserves.
Gary Campbell and Simon Hillier scored for Devizes, with Brian Blake and Chris Withers replying.
Second in the table Trowbridge Town missed a golden opportunity to close the gap on the leaders when they were surprisingly beaten 2-0 on their own ground by lowly Corsham Town Reserves. Steve Davies and Tommy Laver (penalty) scored the goals.
Third from bottom Malmesbury Vics Reserves created another shock result when they defeated fourth in the table Biddestone 2-1 on their own ground.
