HIGHWORTH Town made it eight wins from their last nine matches when they beat Division One side Bisley Sports 4-0 in the second round of the Hellenic Supplementary Cup.
Highworth never looked in any danger of being the victims of a cup upset, scoring two goals in each half.
Dave Webb scored two penalties and Warren Fuller and Gary Hill scored from open play.
Fairford Town, fourth in the section, kept the leaders in their sights with a 2-0 victory over Wootton Bassett.
Yate Town took over the leadership of the Premier section after beating Didcot 6-2 and are the league's highest scorers netting 58 goals from 21 games.
In Division One Purton's title hopes took a knock when they were beaten at Shrivenham 1-0 in front of the home side's biggest crowd of the season.
Purton looked a shadow of the side that has seen them move to second spot in the table and Shrivenham took a deserved lead on 38 minutes, Neil Sutton nipping through a static Purton defence.
Don Rogers' Pewsey Vale side gained a 2-1 away win over bottom club Malmesbury Vics despite going a goal down in the first minute from a strike by Hillier. Burnett equalised for Pewsey on the half hour and Yates snatched the winner midway through the second half.
