THE new vicar of Woodborough, the Rev Vanda Rowe, dropped in at the village school to bless mosaics made by the 120 children.
The mosaics have been put up at the school entrance.
Mrs Rowe has moved from Marlborough, where she was curate, to join the Pewsey and Swanborough team.
She has responsibility for a number of parishes, including Woodborough.
She went to Woodborough School to meet the staff and pupils and also to officially bless the ceramic mosaics which the children made during the summer term.
The school's four classes each made a mosaic under the direction of artist in residence Julieann Worrall-Hood.
Acting headteacher Ian Tucker, who will be deputy head from the start of the new term when new head Hazel Jones arrives, said: "The four classes were allowed to choose their own subjects and they made their mosaics from bits of porcelain under the direction of Julieann.
"I suppose it's fair to say the mosaics represent the freedom of the school because the pupils were able to choose their own subjects.
"They all helped make them so there is a little bit of everyone in the finished work."
